Jim Sargent began our firm as J. Sargent Company in 1968 with his wife, Jean. Jim is the author of eight knife books and articles on antique and collectible cutlery. He has held the presidency and various other positions with the National Knife Collectors Association and has served on its Board of Directors. In the early 1980’s, Jim was instrumental in the establishment of the National Knife Museum in Chattanooga, TN.

 

What started as a hobby of collecting antique knives has now grown into all aspects of the cutlery industry - new knives, antique knives, reference guides and imported knives from around the world. We've even got the ultimate in cool groomsmen gifts available.
